"This looks so brilliant!--- Plus weird, hilarious and creepy rolled up all together. The plot is so outrageous you have to wonder how wild the movie will be from beginning to end!"

Dark of the Moon
What's It About?
  The third installment in the Transformers film series, this time sans Megan Fox.

PREDICTION:
"Out of all the Transformers films so far--- this third helping looks the most action filled--- maybe too much action? The first was so cool because it was the first Transformers movie, the second--- not as great. T3 looks like it will deliver nothing but fun! Seeing the Transformers fight in 3D should make this one very, very cool installment!"

What's It About?
  Three girls while on vacation in Paris--- one is mistaken for an heiress and treated to the good life in Monte Carlo instead.

"It looks cute enough but unfortunately has that straight-to-DVD feel to it."

What's It About?
  Documentary on a woman--- Deborah Peagler--- allegedly wrongly imprisoned for the murder her abusive husband.

"It looks very interesting but heartbreaking."

A divorced father plans to go on a shooting spree.

"The plot is as horrifying as it is--- is a good one--- unfortunately it doesn't seem like it will be well-executed. "

What's It About?
  A middle-aged man named Larry Crowne goes to college and falls for his beautiful professor.

"The plot isn't interesting at all but it is cool seeing veteran nice guy actor Tom Hanks and 'America's Sweetheart' Julia Roberts in a film together."

Worst New Movie Poster of the Week

(Official movie poster for upcoming movie Monte Carlo.)


WHY THIS POSTER SUCKS!:

*The poster doesn't look extravagant enough as the movie's title and plot suggests. 
Sitting atop suitcases, the characters played by Gomez, Meester and Cassidy don't look like they're having the time of their lives as the tagline says.


**A better poster would be the three girls decked out in the gorgeous dresses they eventually are seen in within in the film--- with the Monte Carlo backdrop behind them still or with them at a ball or gala.
The film's title would look even greater written out in a fancy script and in a bolder color.

Bad Teacher
What's It About?
A "bad" middle school teacher who hates teaching--- finally shows interest in her job--- when a cute new teacher arrives at school.
 

Trailer:
PREDICTION:
"It looks pretty hilarious--- but I have a feeling the best comedy bits are in the trailer. Diaz is a fun choice to be a sexy 'bad teacher'--- but it would be even more fun and funnier if the 'bad teacher' was an older actress. Singer turned actor Justin Timberlake makes a cute love interest for Diaz's character--- but it's cute only because they used to be a couple. Bad Teacher is seemingly unnecessarily  R-Rated--- but at the same time rightfully R-Rated. Since Diaz's teacher character doesn't give an F--- there should be a lot of swear words and skin showing from her bad teacher role."

Turtle: 
The Incredible Journey
What's It About?
Documentary of a loggerhead turtle swimming around different parts the world.
 

Trailer:
PREDICTION:
"It looks fascinating--- but at the same time--- boring. Turtles aren't the most exciting animal characters to rush to watch on the silver screen."

A Better Life
What's It About?
An illegal alien and his son in L.A. work together to locate the father's stolen gardening truck.

PREDICTION:
"It looks pretty good due to the father-son aspect of the plot--- that looks extremely touching."

What's It About?
The second installment of the animated, talking Cars series.

PREDICTION:
"I'm sure only fans of the first Cars will find this cool."

Conan O' Brien:
Can't Stop
What's It About?
Documentary on comedian Conan O' Brien's recent comedy tour.

PREDICTION:
"It doesn't look very interesting or funny to me--- but I'm not a Conan O' Brien fan. For O' Brien fans, it probably will be interesting and funny."

Worst New Movie Poster of the Week

WHY THIS POSTER SUCKS!:
 
*Great tagline, but Cameron's Diaz's character doesn't look "bad" enough sleeping in sunglasses with her stilettos up.


**A better poster would be her sticking up her middle fingers to a classroom of students. The classic teacher's apple is cool but instead of the post-it being tame and saying 'Eat Me!' it should be more daring and say, 'F**k you!'

WHY THIS POSTER SUCKS!:
 
*Diaz's character still doesn't look "bad" and Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel's characters look out of place and with  awkward looking expressions. 


**A better poster would be her in the short shorts and midriff top she wears in one scene of the movie enticing the two male characters.

*The chalk board-esque poster is creative but saying simply 'Bad Teacher' isn't saying anything.


**A better poster would be a bunch of expletives or naughty drawings along with the title. Or a naughty chalkboard drawing of Diaz's character.

What's It About?
A group of kids making a movie--- after a nearby train crash--- unknowingly catch on film a monster.
 

Trailer:
PREDICTION:
"It looks really really great! Although director/writer J.J. Abrams directed and wrote it--- it has a Steven Spielberg feel to it (Speilberg produced it) mixed with a bit of Stephen King feel. Although a serious monster movie starring children is nothing new--- it is refreshing to see in film at the moment. The look of Super 8 looks authentically 70's/80's. It should be a real treat to see the moment when the monster is actually revealed!"
